A memorial service for Judith Ann Anderson will be held in her honor August 29, 2009 at 10:00 AM at Faith Walk World Outreach Center 1450 Avenue of the Cities in Silvis, Illinois. Judith was born September 29, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1943 Judith went with her parents to Bolivia, South America. Her parents Paul and Tressie Anderson were Foursquare Missionaries. Later the family also served in Columbia. At the age of 16 Judith returned to the United States to attend LIFE Bible College for four years. After graduating from LIFE she attended Los Angeles City College and earned a degree in Music. In 1967 she went to the Moline Gospel Temple as the Assistant Music Director and later as the Music Director for 15 years. In addition to directing choirs, she started and directed 17 ensemble groups, including the youth ensemble of the Real Life Singers. Judith also served as Sunday School Superintendent for the 10 year olds for 7 years. Judith moved to California with close friend Vera Carlson in 1983. Judith attended Church On The Way and sang in the choir as well as the Chorale for nearly six years. Judith loved to laugh and play practical jokes. After a recent bought with sickness she moved to Heaven on July 31, 2009. She inspired countless people with her voice and her heart for God. A pot luck dinner will be served after the service.
