Judy "Ma Cooney" Cooney, 67, East Moline, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Riverwood Care, East Moline. The family will hold a memorial gathering after 6PM on June 28, 2013 at Jimbo's Knucklehead Saloon, 902 16th Ave., East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. Judy Moore was born, August 22, 1945 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Marvin M and Kathryn L. (Pringle) Moore. She married James Cooney Sr. December 2, 1963 and they had a son and a daughter. She later lived her life with Charles Burroughs Sr. and had 2 more sons. He passed February 9, 1997. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing pool, darts and bowling. She was the Chicago Cub's number 1 fan. Survivors include her children, James (Debbie) Cooney, Jr., Silvis, Chad Cooney, East Moline, Todd (Kristen) Cooney, LeClaire, six grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, son-in-law Dennis Irving, LeClaire and sister JoAnn Atkinson, Scottsdale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her daughter Tracey Irving brothers, Bob McGovern, Jerry McGovern, and Gene Moore and a sister Sharon Carter.
