Memorial services for Judith M. Hayden, 65, of Davenport, IA, will be 2:00 PM Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be from noon until service time at the church on Saturday. Judie died Wednesday, November 05, 2008 at Fejevary Health Care Center, Davenport, IA. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the family or the Humane Society of Scott County. Judith Homan was born February 16, 1943 in Moline, IL, the daughter of William and Sylvia (Dreyer) Homan. She married Larry Hayden December 16, 1961. She had been a Contract Specialist at the Rock Island Arsenal, where she retired after 38 years of service. Judie's greatest love was spending time with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. Her passions included her dogs, gardening, reading and traveling. Her family and friends will greatly miss her wonderful sense of humor, generosity, compassion and independent spirit. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Sarah Hayden and David Mirocha of Bettendorf, IA, Emily Hayden Horning and Michael Horning of Fenton, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Hayden and Ann Sullivan of St. Paul, MN; grandchildren, Thomas, Samuel, Evan, Charlotte, Abigail, and Skyler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Bill Park of Moline, Dotty and Dar Johnson of Batavia, IL.
