Judith "Judy" Schell, 69, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at her home. A Celebration of Life will be held at the East End Club, Moline, IL, beginning at Noon, Saturday, July 12, 2014. Judy was born October 22, 1944, in Rock Island, IL, the daughter of Earl and Dorothy Draper Denhard. She was a graduate of Rock Island High School Class of 1962. She married Harold Petty in 1962. She later married David Schell July 12, 1980, in Rock Island. She had worked at the former Servus Rubber, Rock Island, and several of the Geifman Grocery Stores, as a cashier. Judy enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing, and anything Elvis. She was a "Jigsaw Puzzle Master." Judy loved her family and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and her little dog, Buttons. Survivors include her husband, David Schell, East Moline; daughter, Susan (Dave) Patterson, Matherville, IL; sons, Robert Petty, Glenwood, GA, and Steve (Michelle) Petty, East Moline; grandchildren, Colten and Kirsten Petty, Elizabeth (Joey) Kistner, Rebecca Patterson, Alexis, Abbey, and Ryan Petty; great granddaughter, Adelyn Campos; sisters, Jan (Dick) Visser, East Moline, Joyce (Jim) Bowling, and Gina Lopez, Rock Island.
