Funeral services for Judith L. Sovanski, 62, Moline, are 10 AM Wednesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island national Cemetery. Visitation is 3-7 PM Tuesday May 24, 2005 at the funeral home. Judy died Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. A memorial fund has been established. Judy Herbon was born June 9, 1942 in San Jose, CA, the daughter of Charles L and Regina (Dillon) Herbon. She married Daniel Cook in 1961. She later married Greg "Polock" Sovanski, June 12, 1982 in Moline. She worked for over 25 years at Sammy G Lanes, East Moline and Highland Park Bowl, Moline. Most recently she worked at Vanguard Distributing, Davenport. She enjoyed Bowling and Racing. She was secretary/treasurer at the East End Boulder's Club, Moline. Survivors include her husband Polock, daughters Cynthia Findley, Silvis, and Melinda (Jim) Palmer, Springfield, OH, son Forrest Cook, Moline and step daughter Wendy Hardin, Taylor Ridge, grandchildren Veronica, Chelsea, Paige, Catalina, Savanna, Scott, Shirley, Isaac, Gage and Taylor, and a brother Ronald Herbon, Port Charlotte, FL.
