Judith L. Stitt, 62, of Moline, IL, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL, with a memorial visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. prior to services. Inurnment will be at a later date. Memorials may be made to Quad City Animal Welfare Center, Milan, IL.

Judith was born August 23, 1960 in New Rochelle, New York, the daughter of Arthur and Marilyn Hook Sutty. She graduated from Moline High School, Class of 1978. Judith married Craig A. Stitt in 1983 in Davenport, Iowa.

She worked for Walgreens on 7th Street & 16th Avenue, Moline for twenty years in various positions, until leaving in 2014 for health reasons.

Judith enjoyed many visits over the years to Bayside, Maine. Some of her favorite times were those spent with family, friends, and her beloved Basset Hounds, Lilly Belle, Lola Rose and Weezie.

Surviving are her husband, Craig, of Moline; son, John Stitt, Moline; daughter, Erin (Christopher) Schneck, Coal Valley, IL; grandchildren, James Stitt, Ember Lopez, Elizabeth Qualls, Meredith Schneck and Dylan Schneck; mother and step-father, Marilyn and Lawrence Matteson, Moline; step-sister, Diane (John) Meister, Columbia City, IN; step-brother, Larry (Mary Lee) Matteson, Burlington, IA; and several nieces and nephews; and other family.

Judith was preceded in death by her father, Arthur Sutty; and her brother, James Sutty.
