Julia Theuninck, 97, East Moline, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021 at Serenity of Moline, East Moline. Visitation is from 9AM until 10 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline. Funeral services are 10:30 AM Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she was a member.

Julia was born on September 19, 1923 in Moline, the daughter of Desire and Alida (Collins) Theuninck. She worked at the former Y&S Candies and retired from Hershey after 42 years with the company. She loved dancing on Saturday nights, listening to music, and going for walks.

Survivors include niece Judy (Jay) Leppo, nephew, Rick Theuninck, and their children, cousins including, Carol VanWinkle, Colona, Julie Huizenga, East Moline, Maurice Popelier, East Moline, Angie Callus, MI, and Stanley VanThournout, St. Charles, IL and her life long companion, Don Albert, Port Byron.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Joseph, Marcel and Adiel.
