Funeral services for Julia A. Viscioni, 63, Coal Valley, are 10 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. Julia died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Loyola University Hospital, Maywood, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Hospital or to the Milan Quad-City Animal Welfare Center. Julia was born September 21, 1943 in Galesburg, IL. She married Albert Viscioni on March 22, 1970 in Rock Island. She had worked for Dr. Udehn, Illinois Optical and at Sears, Moline for many years. Julia was a member of Heartstrings at Heritage Weselyn Church, Rock Island, the Antique Ford Car Club, and the Moline VFW ladies auxiliary. She was a giving caring person who volunteered for numerous charities including the Festival of Trees, the Race for the cure and the Bix 7 Run. Julia was a diehard Chicago Cub Fan and a Jeff Gordon NASCAR fan. Survivors include her husband of 37 years Albert, children and spouses Kevin Viscioni, Ft Walton Beach, FL, Todd and Tammy Viscioni, Rapids City, IL, and Anna and Mark Ross, Coal Valley, grandchildren; Kayla Viscioni, Ashley Viscioni, Vincent Viscioni, Noah Ross and Brennan Ross, brothers; Daniel Bowen, Omaha, NE, Terry Bowen, Peoria, IL, David Wilt, Knoxville, IL and Steve Bowen, Rock Island and si9sters Linda Bowen, Omaha and Beth Sylvia, Phoenix, AZ.
