Julian A. "Jude" Sanders, 84, of Silvis, IL, died Saturday, November 14, 2020, at Aspen Care Center, Silvis. Private graveside services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Jude was born July 31, 1936, in Lincoln, IL, the son of Everett and Edith (Teichman) Sanders. He was a graduate of United Township High School. He married Virginia Lundeen August 2, 1958, in East Moline. He began his employment at the John Deere Harvester Works on January 22, 1963 and acquired 30 years of service, retiring as a Warehouse Shipper from the Combine Manufacturing Division. He enjoyed attending beer can shows, spending as much time as possible at his camp on the Cedar River, and watching Stock Car racing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Survivors include his wife, Virginia; children, Becky Rosfjord, Durant, IA, Dawn (Richard) Emory, Davenport, IA, and Lee Sanders, Silvis; grandchildren, Angela, Bryan, Christina (Ryan), Thomas, Caroline (Justin), and Nicholas; siblings, Joyce Hoffman, Colona, IL, and Ronald (Kay) Sanders, Prophetstown, IL; sister-in-law, Margaret Sanders, Federal Way, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Sanders; and brother-in-law, Paul Hoffman; and son-in-law, Merlin Rosfjord.
