June T. Goderis, 91, of East Moline, passed away Monday April 1, 2019 at her home. Cremation has been accorded, and a private graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery in East Moline. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Foundation.  Family and friends are invited to June's home (254 31st Ave. East Moline) for a reception to be held from 1-3PM Saturday April 6, 2019. Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., in East Moline is in charge of arrangements. June was born June 9, 1927 in London, England, a daughter of Leonard and Minnie Leading Hutchings. She married Joseph R. Goderis on December 22, 1945 in London. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2011. She was a lifelong homemaker. She and her husband enjoyed roller skating several times a week for many years at the former Skateland in East Moline. She also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, bird-watching and flowers. She is survived by four children: Raymond Goderis of East Moline, James Goderis (Kevin Griffin) of Moline, Judy Durham of East Moline, and Janice (Steve) Burleson of Orion; son-in-law, Kevin Blakeney, East Moline; ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, six great-great-grandchildren, a brother: Raymond (Elsie) Hutchings of England; and numerous nieces and nephews.
