Funeral services for Justin Willemarck-Reedy, 28, East Moline, are 11 AM Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Visitation is 3-7 PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. Justin died Monday, July 13, 2009 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. In lieu of flowers and statuary, memorials may be made to the Justin Willemarck-Reedy Memorial Fund. Justin was born August 18, 1980 at Illini Hospital, Silvis. He graduated from St. Anne School in East Moline in 1994. While in grade school, Justin was in the spring musical and the fall plays. Justin learned to read at the age of 2 and was able to comprehend at 2 ½. He tutored 1st graders when he was in kindergarten. He attended College for Kids every year and traveled to Space Camp at the Kennedy Space Center. Among the many activities of his youth, Justin was a Tiger Cub and received all the necessary badges to become a Webelo Scout and received 1st place in the regatta and pinewood derby, was a Lieutenant in the East Moline Police Explorer Troop, played Little League Baseball, and was an altar server for mass. Justin graduated from Riverdale High School in 1998. During his High School years he played baseball and football as well as working the lights and sound for the Drama Department. He was active in President Eisenhower's People to People and traveled to Australia and New Zealand as a student Ambassador. Justin graduated with an associate degree in audio and visual staging from Full Sail University in Orlando Florida. He was currently working at Porter's Village RX. Prior employment includes working as a stage technician for his brother at Travis Inc, an intern at Van Hoe Funeral Home and the Quad City Airport. Justin was a loving and gentle person who had a great sense of humor and he will be missed by all who knew him. He loved to read and write stories. He would video chronicle many of the fun times he had with his friends whether it was paintball fights, snowboarding or any of a number of other activities. Survivors include his parents, Joseph and Pamela Reedy, East Moline, sister Joella Willemarck-Reedy, Carbon Cliff, brother and sister-in-law Travis Michael and Tina Reedy, Niles, IL, nephews; T.J. and Tytan, his grandfather George Willemarck, aunts and uncles; Bruce Willemarck, Billy Willemarck, Don E. Rogers, Jo-Ellen Williamson, Michael Reedy, Edward Reedy, Tom Paul Reedy, Patrick Kevin Reedy, Rose Ann Reedy, Mary Piper, Eileen Myers, Christine Herschburger, Terry Sawyer, Diane Anderson, Jackie Rowan, Neil Reedy and Randy Reedy, special cousins; Rob Laktas, Troy Laktas, Tom Lee Laktas, Toddie "Geri" Freymann, Claudia Ridenour and Sarah Butcher, great aunts and uncles; Bernice Collier, Marvita and Harvey Jack, Bonita and James Williamson, John and Delores Wilson, Helen Jorgensen, Joan Wilson, Lolita Schlapfer, and Dorothy DeMink, Godparents; Tom and Victoria Krol, Goddaughter, Jenet, special friends; April, Mark and Judy Roseland and Marcia and Giles Verheecke, and a host of other wonderful people. He is preceded in death by grandparents; Joseph B and Margaret Reedy and Lois Rogers.
