Funeral services for Justin M. Rial, 74, of Madison, AL, and formerly of Moline, IL, will be Tuesday at 11 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4-7P.M. at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a liturgy will be held at 6:30P.M. Mr. Rial died Wednesday, August 30, 2016, at his home in Madison, AL, surrounded by family and friends. Justin was born December 20, 1941, in Fort Dodge, IA, the son of James I. and Genieve Steinhoff Rial. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Olga Isais January 22, 1966, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, IL. He worked for the Rock Island Arsenal and then transferred to Red Stone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. Survivors include his wife, Olga Rial, Madison; children, Shawn Rial, Memphis, TN, Todd Michael Rial, Colorado Springs, CO, and Ann Rene Mitchell, Madison; grandchildren, Jacob, Brittini, and Justin Todd; great grandchildren, Landon, Zoe, and Adelynn; siblings, Earl (Jackie) Rial, Seattle, WA, Jane (Bill) Folan, San Leandro, CA, and Marcelline (and the late Don) McPherson, Moline.
