Karen E. Reynolds , 86, of Moline, IL, passed away Monday October 27, 2025, at Allure of the Quad Cities, Moline.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 1st, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Davenport, Iowa, where visitation will be one hour prior to services. Interment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to Rock Island County Historical Society or to St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Karen Eileen Marie was born March 15, 1939, in Moline, Illinois, to Carl C. and Eleanor E. (Willems) Jorgesen. She married Michael B. Reynolds on January 12, 1980, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Davenport.

She worked for the United States Postal Service at the Rock Island, IL, Post Office for many years.

Karen was a member of the Rock Island County Historical Society. She enjoyed genealogy, gardening, and traveling. Some of her favorite times were those spent with family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are her husband, Michael, of Moline; children, Denise Berry-Gipe, Colorado Springs, CO, Tamra (Mark) Kerr-Lemelin, Broomfield, CO, Stefanie Kerr, Colorado Springs, CO, Kathleen Frederick, Broomfield, CO, and Louis Graham Kerr, North Carolina; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren; brothers, Bill Jorgesen, Moline, Brian Jorgesen, Lakeland, FL, and Bruce Jorgesen, Moline; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Kerr; and her parents, Carl and Eleanor.
