Funeral services for Karen M. Leibovitz, 80, of Colona, IL, will be 10:00 am Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Leibovitz died Friday May 25, 2018, at her home surrounded by family. Karen was born January 31, 1938, in Moline, IL, the daughter of Kathryn White. She married Gene Leibovitz March 11, 1955, in East Moline. She retired from the Secretary of State Drivers Facility after 27 years of service. Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Gene Leibovitz, Colona; daughter, Ty Ann Leibovitz, East Moline; son, Jerry Leibovitz, Silvis, IL; grandchildren Samantha, Stephani, J.L., Candice, and Tanner; 17 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, and son, Jeff Leibovitz. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Jeff Leibovitz Memorial Scholarship Fund.
