Funeral services for Karen (Kaskadden) VanArnam, 61, of Milan, IL, will be 5:30PM Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 3-5:30 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mrs. VanArnam died Sunday, September 04, 2005 at Oak Glen Nursing Home, Coal Valley, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Karen was born June 3, 1944 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of William and Anna (Stankunus) Kaskadden. She married David Van Arnam in September of 1964. She had worked at Bon Air, Moline, IL. She loved her family and her pet cat, "Cookie". Survivors include: husband, David VanArnam of Milan, IL, daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Jasen McKeag of Matherville, IL; her mother, Anna Scott of Coal Valley, IL; son-in-law, Micah Leaver of Milan, IL; grandchildren, Brandon, Devin, John and Niki; great granddaughter, Jamie.
