Funeral services for Katherine "Kay" Bollaert, 77, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 3-8 PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL, where a Liturgy Service will be held at 8:00 PM. Mrs. Bollaert died peacefully at home Friday, March 25, 2005. According to Kay's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Katherine Andon was born January 23, 1928 in East Moline, IL, the daughter of Gust and Afanni (Binka) Andon. She graduated from United Township High School. She married William "Bill" Bollaert, August 13, 1949 at St. Anne Catholic Church in East Moline. She was a loving devoted wife, mother and grandmother. There was no greater joy in her life than being with her family. She was devoted to her 8 children and 27 grandchildren and always enjoyed attending their activities and events. Survivors include: her husband of 55 years, Bill Bollaert of Silvis, IL; daughters and sons-in-law, Kit Blanchat of Spokane WA, Sue and Randy Davidson of Magnolia, TX, Beth and Greg Ricke of Silvis, IL; sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Joan Bollaert of Moline, IL, William Todd and Cathy Bollaert of Moline, IL, John and Pam Bollaert of Silvis, IL, Brian and Regina Bollaert of Moline, IL, Thom and Annette of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Mark, John, Tom, Josh, Jennifer, Lindsey, Ashley, Elizabeth, Andrew, Brandon, Kevin, Michelle, David, Brennan, Emily and Noah Bollaert, Jennifer, Brandyn and Dane Blanchat, Jonathan, Aaron, and Brian Davidson, Michael, Stephanie and Dana Ricke; sister and brother-in-law, Georgia and Rick Cole of Fort Collins, CO, Nancy Feehan of East Moline, IL.
