Kathleen J. Timmerman, 80, of East Moline, died January 12, 2022, at Genesis Illini Hospital. Burial was in Greenview Memorial Gardens. A private visitation and funeral mass were held at St. Anne's Catholic Church in East Moline, IL. Memorials may be made to the Crazy Horse Memorial Fund in South Dakota, or to St. Anne's Catholic Church.

Kathleen was born October 29, 1941. the daughter of Thomas P. and Josephine M. (Mackey) Timmerman. She graduated United Township High School and went on to work many jobs. She retired from John Deere Harvester as an Administrative Assistant. She was very adept at keeping strong and powerful men in check, and they appreciated it. Kathleen loved to travel. Her passion was wildlife, exploring what South Dakota had to offer. She was also a huge animal lover. She took many trips visiting close friends in Nebraska and she especially loved spending time on her many trips to visit family in Wisconsin. Kathleen was organized, meticulous with accounting, and she was a Green Bay Packer fan. Lastly, she kept a rapport with her classmates on the UTHS reunion committee.

Kathleen is survived by cousins; and godsons, Matt Weiland, Baraboo, WI, and Josh Williams, Atlanta,GA.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
