Kathryn L. Beardsley, 92, of East Moline, passed away Monday October 5, 2020 at Centennial Rehab & Healthcare, Moline.

A graveside service will be held 10:00AM Saturday October 10, 2020 at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Calvary Lutheran Church, Moline. Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., East Moline has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Kathryn was born June 2, 1928 in Rock Island, a daughter of James and Mildred (Weber) Beardsley, and graduated from Rock Island High School. She was an executive secretary for a pharmaceutical company for many years. She was a voracious flower gardener whose gorgeous backyard could have been in a magazine. She was a longtime member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Moline where she had been an avid Sunday school teacher. She was a loving, teaching, and devout Aunt, who loved to spend time with her family playing cards and games under the alias of "Escargot".

Survivors include her niece, Paula Evans, of Moline; great-niece, Katherine Evans, Moline and a great-nephew, David Evans of St. Louis, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Betty, and a brother, James.
