Kay F. Ferguson, 77, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday March 6, 2019 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf, IA.

A private interment will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery, next to her husband.

Kay was born April 24, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana, a daughter of Frances and Harrietta (Wolever) Brugman. She married Jimmie Lacy Ferguson in 1958, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He preceded in her death on December 13, 2014.

She was a lifelong homemaker, and was known for being a excellent cook and skilled Euchre player. After Jim's retirement from Caterpillar in Mt. Joy, IA after over 30 years of service, they enjoyed many years traveling the USA in their RV.

Survivors include: her children: Sophina (Kent) Dirck of East Moline; and Jim (Linda) Ferguson of Peotone, IL; six grandchildren: Brandon, Benjamin, Lacey, Beau, Tyler and SaraKay; two great-grandchilren: Haley and Logan; and a sister: Peggy Mitchell of Fort Worth, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
