Kay E. Foiles, 74, Silvis, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at her home. Funeral services are 11 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, East Moline or to the Rose Chapter of the Eastern Star. Kay Leistiko was born on March 20, 1942 in Moline, the daughter of Harvey and Roberta (Nelson) Leistiko. Kay graduated from Rock Island High School. She married James Foiles on May 5, 1964 in Rock Island. She worked at Mc Cabe's Department store and later in the Accounting Dept. at McClure Engineering, East Moline. Kay was an exceptional seamstress. Survivors include her husband Jim, sons; Michael Foiles, Robinson, IL and Christopher Foiles, Silvis, grandchildren; Michael, Brianne, Samantha and Emily, four great grandchildren and her brother, Bill (Mary) Leistiko, Wichita, KS. She was preceded in death by her parents and a great grandson.
