Funeral service for Kelvin Sandoval, 62, of Sterling Heights, MI, formerly of Silvis, IL, will be 10 am Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 pm Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd, East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 3pm. Mr Sandoval passed away May, 22, 2022 in Sterling Heights.

Kelvin was born April 15, 1960, in Moline, IL, the son of Emidio H. and Eloise (Zaragoza) Sandoval. He was a graduate of United Township Class of 1978. He retired from TACOM, Warren, MI, in 2021, after 37 years of service. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing, and reading.

Survivors include his mother, Eloise Sandoval, Silvis, siblings, Elaine (Thomas) Walter, Milan, IL, Jeanette (Rod) Curtis, Naperville, and Martin "Marty" (Ann) Sandoval, East Moline; brother-in-law, Jeff Baker, St. Charles, IL; 6 nieces; 3 nephews; 3 great nieces; and 2 great nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father and sister, Karen Baker.

Memorials may be made to Christ the King Catholic Church or Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Silvis.
