Graveside services for Kenneth E. "Ken" Gramling Jr., 88, of East Moline, IL, will be 11 am Thursday, at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. A memorial visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline. Mr. Gramling passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at UnityPoint Medical Center ER, Moline, IL.

Ken was born September 6, 1933, in Milan, MO, the son of Kenneth and Ima Lucile (Marvin) Gramling Sr. He served in the Korean Conflict as a member of the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged. He was united in marriage to Norma Williams, June 19, 1955, in Moline. Ken retired in 1989 from John Deere Harvester, East Moline, after more than 35 years of service. Ken was a master mechanic and all his neighbors knew it! He could fix anything.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Norma, East Moline; children, David Gramling, Arcadia Lakes, SC, Bill (Ronda) Gramling, East Moline, Dan Gramling, Colona, IL, and Mike Gramling, East Moline; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; six siblings, Marva "Earleen" Pinnick, FL, Carolee Wilson and Phyllis Rae Hollon, both of Missouri, Lowell "Burton" (Darlene) Gramling and Pharis "Marvin" (Patricia) Gramling, all of Illinois.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis in 2020; and his twin, J.T. (Nancy) Gramling; and brothers-in-law, Marvin Pinnick, Paul Wilson, and Abe Hollon.
