Kenneth D. Harris, 89, formerly of East Moline, passed away Monday, December 22, 2025, at his daughter's home in Blue Grass, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, 1500 6th Street, East Moline. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline.

Memorials may be made to King's Harvest No Kill Shelter, Davenport.

Kenneth was born December 7, 1936, in Iowa City, Iowa, to William T. and Blanche I. (Taylor) Harris. Kenneth married Delores M. Allison on April 18, 1958, in Rock Island. He worked as a truck driver for Dimock & Gould and later Bekins. Kenneth enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing, and you could find him nearly every weekend at their cabin along the cedar river with his Delores and their dogs, Spike and Tiny.

Those left to honor his memory include children, Scott (Patricia) Harris, Susan (Jeff) Wulf, Shawn (Connie) Harris, and Jeanine Munn; 20 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Delores, parents, son Jeff Harris; siblings, Bill Harris, Wilma Claussen and Phyllis Hahn; grandson Anthony Lopez, and great-great granddaughter, Ivory.
