Funeral services for Kenneth F. Hulsbrink, 88, of Moline, IL, will be 10:00AM Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Burial will be at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery, Moline IL. Visitation will be 4-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL where a liturgy service will be held at 4:00PM. Kenneth died Monday, January 8, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Alzheimer Association. Kenneth was born July 13, 1918 in Rock Island, IL, the son of Louis and Agnes (Kelly) Hulsbrink. He married Ethel Odendahl on October 21, 1940, at St. Anne Catholic Church in East Moline. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Moline. Ken was co-owner of Ken-Tronics Inc., Milan, IL for over 45 years. He also worked for Tri-City Tool & Die, and for the Rock Island Arsenal. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, and a member of the American Legion, East Moline, the Elks Club, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Ken loved to golf. He also enjoyed camping, scuba diving, boating and riding motorcycles. Survivors include: his wife of 66 years, Ethel of Moline; daughters and sons in law; Karyl Welker of Moline, Catherine and John Booth of Woodstock, MD., Susan Keller of Alpine, CA.; son and daughter in law; Bart and Muriel Hulsbrink of Colgate WI; grandchildren (spouse); Kirk(Jeanine)Mital of Raleigh NC, Kristie(Ronnie)Holsclaw of Raleigh NC, Jon(Lorie)Booth of MD, Lorien(Jean) Picou of St.Croix, Virgin Islands, Christopher Booth of Woodstock,MD, and Ellie Hulsbrink of Colgate WI.
