Funeral services for Kenneth Lee "Kenny" Noel, 71, of Hampton, IL, will be 10:00AM Tuesday at St. Mary's Mission Church, Hampton, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4:00-8:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 3:30PM. Kenny died Friday, December 5, 2013 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA. Memorials may be made to the Quad City Animal Welfare Center or Rock Island County Animal Care and Control. Kenny was born August 31, 1942 in Moline, IL, the son of Carroll Ryan and Dorothy Mae Simerson Noel, Sr. He married Patricia "Tricia" Riley July 1, 1972 in Silvis, IL. He retired from John Deere Harvester, April 1, 1992 . He was Past President of The Hampton Township Youth Commission where he enjoyed supporting the youth softball program by coaching and umpiring. During his tenure he headed up countless fundraising campaigns resulting in improvements and buildings for the softball facilities at Illiniwek Park in Hampton, IL. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren grow into adults. He was proud of their academic, athletic, and military accomplishments. He loved John Force and followed the drag racing circuit including countless World Series at Cordova Drag strip. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Tricia Noel, Hampton; daughters, Pamuela (Donald) Ingalls, Port Byron, IL, and Christa Moshier, East Moline; sons, David Noel, Rock Island, and Brian Noel, Canada; grandchildren, Kevin, Kara, Justin, Andrea, Tori, Brock, and Josh; great granddaughter, Tiffany. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nancy and Virginia; brothers, Carroll, Jr., Robert, Ronald, Larry, Gordon, and Steven.
