Kevin J. Gant, 68, of Silvis, IL, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 6th, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following services.

Kevin was born October 24, 1957, in Decatur, Illinois, one of five sons born to Larry E. and C. Eileen (Woodrum) Gant. He married Lisa J. Wolfe on July 6, 1985 in East Moline.

He was a member of Sheetmetal Workers Local 91 and retired from the Rock Island Arsenal.

Kevin enjoyed playing the guitar, coaching sports when his children were younger, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.

Surviving are his wife, Lisa, of Silvis; children, Codie (Elaina) Gant, Davenport, Dekota (Val) Gant, East Moline, Kenneth Filer, Champaign, IL, Joshua (Lark) Crew, Davenport, and Jessica (Phil) Mueller, Davenport; many beloved grandchildren; brother, Rich Gant, East Moline; sister-in-law, Mary Ann Gant; and many nieces, nephews, and other family.

Kevin was preceded in death by his mother, Eileen; father, Larry; and brothers, Dennis, Mike, and Jeff Gant.
