Kimberly A. Schweitzer, 62, Silvis, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf. At Kim's request, her body will be cremated and there will be no services. She was born August 8, 1954 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Ronald and Bettelou (Voss) Shipley. She graduated from Lutheran School of Nursing and had worked as an RN in the Quad City area. She enjoyed caring for children as a School Nurse, was an avid Moline Maroon supporter, and enjoyed running and gardening. Her greatest joy was her family. Survivors include her children; Joshua Schweitzer, Ankeny, IA, Jacob Schweitzer, Rock Island, and Jennifer Schweitzer, Moline, grandchildren, Vincent and Vivian, her parents, Ron and Bettelou, Moline, and siblings; Christina Voss, Ankeny, Mark Shipley and Steve Shipley, both of Moline.
