Funeral services for Larry W. Hartman, 74, of Moline, IL, will be 11 am Wednesday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 9-11am prior to services at the funeral home. Services will be live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/VanHoeFuneralHome/. Burial will be in Rock Island National Cemetery. Mr. Hartman died Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Larry was born August 14, 1946, in Moline, the son of Willam and Laura (Lyphout) Hartman Jr. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Linda Rosene. He later married Joyce Major April 9, 1983, at The First Presbyterian Church, Moline. Larry retired from the former Case/IH Plant, East Moline. He was a life member of the East End Boulders Club, where he had been active, holding several positions. He was a Chicago White Sox Fan and he enjoyed playing rolle bolle. He was a loving grandfather who adored his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; children, Jamie W. (Jennifer) Hartman, Coal Valley, IL, and Laura J. Hartman, Rock Island, IL; grandchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Alayna, and Julian; and his dog and best buddy, Toby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
