Laura "Dolly" Denys, 90, Silvis, passed away on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Aspen, Silvis. At Dolly's request only private family services were held and burial was in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.

Dolly was born on August 19, 1927 in East Moline, the daughter of Albert and Madeline (Dumolien) Viscioni. She married Emil Denys on April 4, 1945 in East Moline. He died on November 25, 1997. She retired after 28 years with Sam's Wells Fargo, Moline. She enjoyed reading, going to yard sales and her cat, Callie.

Survivors include her children, Barbara (Charlie) Knox, Susan (Vito) Sparacello, Raymond (Sandy) Denys, Steven Denys and Craig (Chris) Denys, fourteen grandchildren, many much loved great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and sisters, Joyce, Betty, Frances and Rose.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emil, son, Scott, sister, Mary Ann and brothers, Louie and Albert.

The family would like to thank Hospice and the caregivers at Aspen for the care and compassion.
