Laurene A. Senatra, 65, passed away November 27, 2024 in Leesburg, Florida, after a courageous battle with cancer. Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation will be from 10 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, where a Rosary will be recited at 12:30 pm.

Laurene Anne Cobert was born on April 2, 1959 in Moline, IL, the daughter of Duane and Teresa Cobert. She married Dan Senatra on June 25th, 1977, and they have two children.

Laurene was a graduate of Alleman High School. She retired from Genesis Medical Group in 2017, then moved to The Villages, Florida with her husband Dan to enjoy retirement.

Laurene was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed bingo, golf, traveling, listening to live music, relaxing by the pool, and socializing with friends. Laurene left behind a legacy of selfless generosity, giving the gift of sight through the Lions World Vision Institute.

Those left to cherish her memories include her husband of 47 years, Dan; son, Danny Senatra Jr., East Moline and daughter, Stephanie (Brian) Heritage, East Moline; grandchildren, Chloe and Caleb Heritage; father, Duane Cobert; sister, Sharon (Mark) Benes; brother, Gary (Shelley) Cobert; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.

Laurene was preceded in death by her mother, Teresa Cobert, and Mother-in-Law, Edith Senatra.
