Funeral services for LaVonne C. Coe, 85, of East Moline, IL, will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Christ the King Catholic Church, Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline. Visitation will be 3:00-7:00PM Monday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 2:00PM. Mrs. Coe died Friday, March 21, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross. LaVonne Pardee was born August 11, 1922 in Audubon County, IA, the daughter of Earl and LaMeda (McNary) Pardee. She married Ival "Jim" Coe September 23, 1940 in Grant City, MO. He died November 5, 1993. LaVonne had been a homemaker and a loving mother to 6 children. She enjoyed music, playing cards, and dancing at the Col Ballroom. She was a Diehard Chicago Cubs Fan. She loved her family deeply and will be missed by all. Survivors include: daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Jack Green of Bettendorf, IA; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Connie Coe of Kenosha, WI, Bill and Nancy Coe of Ankeny, IA, Tom and Diana Coe of Milan, IL, Marty and Teri Coe of East Moline, Mike and Lori Coe of Sycamore, IL; 16 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Chetty Pardee of St. James, MO, Bob and Virgie Pardee of Cleveland, TX, Jack and Phyllis Pardee of Gause, TX; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
