Lawrence "Larry" Efflandt, 79, of Silvis, IL, went home to be with the Lord, October 2, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home. Larry was born July 5, 1938, in Moline, IL, the son of Roy and Helga Petersen Efflandt. He married Barbara Karhoff. He later married Patricia (Morse) Martin June 1, 1977. He retired from Ralston Purina, Davenport, IA, in 1995. Larry was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church, East Moline. He loved God, his family and his church family. Survivors include his wife, Pat Efflandt, Silvis; children, Brigadier General Scott (Ann) Efflandt, Fort Leavenworth, KS, and Molly Efflandt, St. Louis, MO; step children, Bryan (Leslie) Martin, Louisville, KY, Bruce (Beth) Martin, Dewitt, IA, and Brenda Martin, Silvis; grandchildren, Nicole, Jesse, Taylor, and Nicholas.
