Lawrence N. Fuller, 68, East Moline, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at Hope Creek Care, East Moline. Funeral services are 10 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Rock Island National Cemetery, where the East Moline American Legion Post 227 will conduct military honors. Visitation is 4-7PM Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to QC Paws, Moline. Larry was born on January 16, 1948 in Leon, IA, the son of Lawrence "Dick" and Evelyn (Venosky) Fuller. He married Sheryl Klingibiel on September 22, 1973 in Moline. She died June 21, 2007. Larry held various jobs and retired as a machinist from Kone, Moline. He was a railroad enthusiast, enjoyed fishing, woodworking and was a Chicago Bears fan. He served two tours in the US Marine Corp. during the Vietnam Era, receiving numerous medals, including 2 Purple Hearts. Survivors include his sons, Steven (Alicia) Fuller, Orion and Jason Fuller, Davenport, grandson, Zachariah, siblings; Linda (Gary) Baney, Roaring Spring, PA, Barbara (Scott) Nelson, Monmouth, IL and Roger "Skip" (Elizabeth) Fuller, Kansas City, MO and his beloved dog, Abbie.
