Lee A. Lawrick, 83, of East Moline, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at Allure of Moline. Graveside services will be 9:30 AM Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Anyone wishing to attend should be at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, by 9:00 AM.

Lee was born November 27, 1940, in Streator, IL, the son of Donald and Evelyn (Marx) Lawrick, who proceded him in death, along with sister, Judy Towell.

Survivors include his children, Tammy Lawrick, Des Moines, IA, and Steve (Christina) Lawrick, East Moline; grandchildren, Hannah and Grace Lawrick, East Moline and Jordan Dickenson, Austin, TX; brother, Ronald (Barbara) Lawrick, San Antonio, TX; and lifelong best friend, Jim Foiles, Silvis.

Lee served in the US Air Force. For most of his career, he was a Radio Disc Jockey known as "Loveable Lee" for WHBF & WKBF, Quad Cities, and WFMB, Springfield, IL. Lee was an avid, lifelong Chicago Cubs fan.
