Lela "Kay" Byers, 90, of East Moline, IL, passed away, Thursday, November 25, 2021, at Unity Point, Rock Island, IL. There will be no services. Burial will be in LeClaire Cemetery, at a later date.

Lela Greer was born September 8, 1931, in Morrilton, AR, the daughter of Harmon and Clara (Batson) Greer. She married Elwood Bratcher in 1948. He passed away in 1971. She later married William Byers in 1973. He passed away in 2002. Lela operated Kays Beauty Shop in LeClaire, IA, for several years. She was a member of the Silvis Methodist Church.

Survivors include her sons, Keith (Sue) Bratcher, Moline, IL, and Greg (Susie) Bratcher, Riverdale, IL; daughter-in-law, Tracy Bratcher, Port Byron, IL; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Robert Greer, Durant, OK, Margaret Peterson, Batesville, MS, and Janet Bufford, Pineville, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; and son, Stephen Bratcher.

Memorials may be made to Silvis Methodist Church Food Pantry.
