Leland Gooch, 94, East Moline, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Illini Restorative Care Silvis. Leland's family will greet family and friends at 12:30 PM Saturday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, East Moline. Services will begin at 1 PM in the Mausoleum. Leland was born on February 9, 1922 in Scottsville, MO, the son of John and Mattie (Riddle) Gooch. He married Lena May Davolt on June 10, 1951 in DeWitt, MO. He retired as a mechanic from the former International Harvester Farmall, Rock Island. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Lena, sons; Gregory Gooch (Kathy Qualls) Milan, IL and David (Marci) Gooch, Colona, 2 grandchildren 1 great granddaughter and his sister Valjean Zimmerman, Purdin, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and a sister.
