Funeral services for Leona M Cant Hutten, 86, East Moline, are 10 AM Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 4:30 PM. Mrs. Hutten died Thursday, July 12, 2007 at Rosewood Care Center, Moline. Memorials may be made to the Monsignor William J. Cleary Endowment Fund. Leona Cant was born August 9, 1920 in East Moline, the daughter of August P and Virginia (DeBock) Cant. She married Robert C. Hutten on May 6, 1939 at St. Anne Church, East Moline. He died January 30, 1999. Leona retired from the cafeteria at Moline High School. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus #716 Auxilliary, the National Catholic Order of Foresters Court #375, and the East End Bolders Club. Survivors include her son Rodney P. Hutten, East Moline, a daughter-in-law Karen Hutten, East Moline, grandchildren and spouses; Kevin (Kim) Hutten, Dayton, Ohio, Lynn DeWilfond, Neponset, IL, and Jennifer (Rob) Coombes, Kewanee, IL and great grandchildren; Tyler, Brittany, Rachel, Breanna, Tori, Regan and Jack. Leona is preceded in death by her husband Bob, son Robert, two sisters and a brother.
