Funeral services for Leonor Martinez, 64, of East Moline, IL, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, East Moline, IL. Entombment will be in St. Mary's Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Friday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd. East Moline, IL, where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM. Mrs. Martinez died Thursday, September 29, 2005 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Leonor Tristan was born January 18, 1941 in Anahuac, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Melquiades and Patricia (Pardo) Tristan. She married Guadalupe Martinez, October 17, 1962 in Rock Island, IL. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and a unique friend. Survivors include: her husband, Guadalupe Martinez of East Moline, IL; daughter and son-in-law, Sofia and Galo Castillo of East Moline, IL, daughter and fiance Elizabeth Martinez and Juan Hernandez of East Moline, IL, , Mariana and Severo Velez; grandchildren, Gerardo, Felicia, Eric and Gali Castillo, Maribel and Isabel Jaramillo, Misael and Ismael Hernandez, Juan, Esperanza and Veronica Velez; great granddaughter, Uriana Rico.
