VILLE PLATTE- Funeral services will be held for the family only for Leroy Gauthier, age 67, at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Owens-Thomas Funeral Home in Ville Platte, LA.  The visitaion will begin at 8:00 A.M.  Burial will be in the St. Paul B.C. Cemetery in Ville Platte, LA.

On Monday, December 28, 2020, at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte, Leroy was called from labor to reward.

Left to mourn his memory will be his three daughters: Nalonie Griffin and Maranda Gauthier both of Ville Platte, LA and Michelle McBean of Killeen, TX;  two sisters:  Mary J. Simon of Ville Platte, LA and Winnie Toussaint of Baton Rouge, LA;  one brother:  Rogers Gauthier of Sulphur, LA;   8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and friends.
