LeRoy V. Glaudel, 90, Rock Island, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2016 in Rock Island. Funeral services are 11 AM Tuesday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline. Visitation is from 10 AM until service time. Memorials may be made to St. Maria Goretti, Coal Valley, where he was a member. LeRoy was born on February 3, 1926 in Davenport, IA, the son of LeRoy and Louise (DeSmet) Glaudel. He married Rose Mary Depoorter on September 13, 1947 in East Moline. She died August 20, 2012. Mr. Glaudel had worked at Desaulniers Printing, and was a salesmen for Saelens Beverage for 30 years. He served in the US Navy during WWII. Survivors include sons, Steven, Rock Island and Scott, Milan and a brother Robert Glaudel, East Moline.
