Leslie V. Davis, 65, of East Moline, passed away Wednesday February 28, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be 10:00AM Tuesday March 6, 2018 at Van Hoe Funeral Home, Ltd., in East Moline. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM-7:00PM Monday March 5, 2018 at the funeral home where memorials may be made to the family. Entombment will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Leslie was born November 15, 1952 in Chicago a daughter of Ralph Sr. and Hope Joy (Tharp) Miller. She attended United Township High School, and obtained her CNA certificate through Rock Island County. She married Ronald Davis on November 9, 1996 in Rock Island. She worked at the former Oak Glen Nursing Home in Coal Valley as a CNA until retiring in 2000. She enjoyed playing games of all kinds, camping, and fishing. She was known for her compassionate and selfless nature towards all people, and loved her family very much. Leslie is survived by her true love: Ronald, 6 children: Raymond Miller of East Moline; Shelly (Bob Sutton Jr.) Laermans of Port Byron; Stephanie (Dennis) Baker of Bettendorf; Charles (Jeni) Ruddell Jr. of Coal Valley; Tawnee (Robert) Cree and Ronda (David) Wheelock both of East Moline; 12 grandchildren; 1-great-granddaughter; siblings: Ralph (Ann) Miller Jr. of Milan; James Dale (Sharon) Miller of Portland, OR; Kenny Turner of Colona and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Larry David Alexander; grandson: Andrew Elsbury; siblings: William Douglas Miller and Pamela Joy Nelson.
