Leslie D. Skiles, 75, of East Moline, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025, at her residence.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline.  Visitation will be from 9:30 am until service time.  Inurnment will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the Hospice Foundation of America.

Leslie was born on September 10, 1949, in Rock Island, the daughter of Guy and Irene (Seymour) Hesser.  She married Gary Skiles on June 29, 2007, in Rock Island.  She was previously married to Richard Dochterman of Aledo.  Leslie worked as a medical assistant for Rock Island County and Genesis.  She enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, dancing, and traveling.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Leslie is survived by her husband, Gary Skiles; daughters, Buffy (Jeff) Broadfoot and Debbi Lindsey; stepchildren, Patrick and Christopher Skiles; grandchildren, Justin and Samantha Broadfoot, Jordan Garrett, Benjamin and Morgan Lindsey, Caroline, Hannah, and Wyatt Dochterman, and Marie, Nick, Skyler, and Dalton Skiles; several great grandchildren to include: Lilly Garrett, Michael Broadfoot, Kennedie Garrett, Kayden Trogdon, and Ashlynn Broadfoot, and Jeffrey Broadfoot; and sister, Marilyn Hesser.  She was preceded in death by her parents; son Richard "Mick" Dochterman; and brother, Robert "Bob" Hesser.
