Funeral services for Leslie M. Pearson, 28, Orion, are 11 AM Tuesday, April 1, 2008 at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Visitation is 3-7 PM Monday, March 31, 2008 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers and statuary, a memorial fund has been established for her children. Following services her body will be cremated. Private family committal will be at a later date. Leslie died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Trinity Regional Health Systems, Rock Island. She was born November 14, 1979 in Silvis, the daughter of Jimmy and Mary Jo (Baima) Pearson. She married Larry Anderson in August of 2005. Leslie was a nursing student at Black Hawk College. She was a wonderful mother; her children were always her first priority, from sporting events to extracurricular activities. Leslie was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was a good friend, good listener and was a very people oriented person. Survivors include; Larry Anderson, Orion, sons; Julian X. Pearson and Maddux B.R. Anderson, both at home; her mother Mary Jo Pearson, Silvis; father and step-mother Jimmy and Nancy Pearson, LeClaire, IA, and brothers; Sean Pearson, Moline and Jimmy Pearson, LeClaire, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
