Funeral services for Lillian E. Sainer, 90, of Silvis, IL, will be 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Colona, IL. Entombment will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, East Moline, IL. Visitation will be 4-7 PM Tuesday (today) at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, where a rosary will be recited at 6:30 PM. There will also be visitation one hour prior to services at the church. . Mrs. Sainer died Sunday, October, 22, 2006 at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis, IL. Memorials may be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Lillian Walz was born August 4, 1916 in Fenton, IA, the daughter of Albert H. and Martha (Gappa) Walz. She married Newton Sainer May 11, 1942 in East Moline, IL. Lillian was a devoted homemaker who loved spending time with her family. Survivors include: her husband of 64 years, Newton Sainer of Silvis, IL; daughters and sons-in-law, Rosemary and Gary Reynolds of Silvis, IL, Dorothy and Gilbert Kuehl of Silvis, IL; son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Donna Sainer of Rapids City, IL; 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 1 great great grand daughter; sisters and brother-in-law, Rozella Hanson of Hollandale, MN, Mary Helen O'Neill of Davenport, IA, Delores and Cal Overby of Austin MN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert and Yvonne Walz of Rochester, MN, Leo and Thelma Walz of East Moline, IL, John Walz of Alexandria, MN; sister in law, Vicky Walz of Silvis, IL. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Kathryn Halferty, brother, Jerome Walz
