Graveside services for Linda Kay Taylor, 73, of Silvis, IL, will be 2pm Friday at Moline Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Thursday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline, IL. Mrs. Taylor passed away Thursday June 16, 2022, at her home.

Linda Smith was born June 27, 1948, in Moline, the daughter of Vernon and Margaret (Horn) Smith. She married Jerry Taylor, September 12, 1966, in Silvis. He passed away on January 13, 2005.

She retired from Deere & Company. Linda loved her fur babies and was known for adopting senior dogs to care for them. Linda and Jerry enjoyed breeding and showing their Taylor Made Champion Bulldogs. She enjoyed flower gardening.

Survivors include her daughter, Kristen (Joseph) McLean, Silvis; grandchildren, Kelin Taylor (Leta Bennett), and Dusten Lockaby (Ashley Rutledge); great grandchildren, Sayler, Stetson, Sophie, Landon, and Carson; and sister, Nadine (Dan) Priebe, Hillsdale, IL.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and brother, Kenneth Womak.
