Linda J. Wadsager, 65, Silvis, died Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Hospital, Silvis. Visitation is 4-7PM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. At Linda's request, following visitation, her body will be cremated and inurnment will be 2PM Monday at Washington Park East Mausoleum, Indianapolis, IN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Athletic Department at United Township High School or to the All Animal Aid Humane Society. Linda Bolmer was born May 29, 1942 in Indianapolis. She was a loving and devoted daughter to her parents Herman and Cora (Solbrig) Bolmer. Linda dedicated herself to ensuring the highest quality of life for her mother who had been in failing health for many years prior to her passing in December of 2007. Linda positively impacted the lives of many through her 34 years of teaching and 20 years of Coaching at U.T.H.S. Linda was a true and faithful friend who consistently went out of her way for others, bringing a generosity of spirit and a wicked good sense of humor to everything she did. An active member of Christ United Methodist Church, East Moline, she played in the Hand Bell Choir and enjoyed Sunday Services. Linda was an animal lover and "Mom" to her many "critters" over the years. She made the best chocolate chip cookie- you can ask anybody. Survivors include her brother Herman J. Bolmer of Fostoria, Ohio, a niece Heather Bolmer and a nephew Eric Bolmer, both of Houston, TX.
