Linda S. Welch, 64, East Moline, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Genesis Medical Center-Illini Campus, Silvis. Funeral services are 10 AM Friday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. She was born May 4, 1950 in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of Leo and Rita Carter McDannald. She married Dean B. Welch on November 2, 1969 in Unionville, MO. He preceded her in death on December 16, 2000. Linda loved children and enjoyed working at the Aldridge Learning Center in East Moline. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in East Moline until her health wouldn't allow it. She was an Elvis Presley Fan and enjoyed reading and watching movies. Survivors include her children, Laurie (Daren) Hendley, Blue Grass, IA, Raquel Welch, Davenport, and Dean B. Welch Jr., East Moline, step-sons, Dennis, Ronald, James, Randall and Paul, grandchildren, Nicholas Hendley, Kaitlin Johnson (Limberth Ponce) and Madison Walters, great-grandchildren, Kiah and Limberth Jr., and her brother Robert McDannald, Kahoka, MO. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son Daryl.
