Lois L Danver, 92, formerly of East Moline, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2014 at Iowa Masonic, Bettendorf. Funeral services are 11 AM Tuesday at First Christian Church, East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 1 hour prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, where Lois had been a life member. Lois Stickel was born on June 19, 1921 in Moline, the daughter of Orlin and Ruth (Timmerman) Stickel. She married Arthur Danver Jr., on August 8, 1942 in Kahoka, MO. He preceded her in death on February 23, 1995. Lois volunteered for many years at Illini Hospital, Silvis. She is survived by her sister Marilyn Short, San Angelo, TX, nieces, nephews and good friends. A special thank you to the staff at Senior Star of Davenport for the love and compassion. She will be missed by her dear friends Deb and Jim (Mike) Sullivan, Davenport.
