Funeral services for Lois E. Harper, 74, East Moline, are 10 AM Monday at Van Hoe Funeral Home Ltd., East Moline. Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Visitation is 2-5PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Lois died Thursday, June 9, 2011 at her home. Lois Glazier was born July 11, 1936 in Hillsdale, IL, the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Peck) Glazier. She married Charles Hay in 1960. He died April 1, 1973. She married Jerry Harper on January 31, 1976 in East Moline. Lois retired from the former International Harvester. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan and a member of the Grandmother's Club. Survivors include her husband Jerry, daughters: Pamela Bachmayer, Copeland, TX and Teri Champion, North Port, FL, stepchildren; Lloyd Harper, Nashville, TN, Daniel Harper, Ohio, Ken Harper, O'Fallon, MO and Scott Harper, East Moline, thirteen grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and a brother Art Glazier, Geneseo. She is preceded in death her husband Charles and brothers; Ken and Gene.
