Funeral services for Lois Jeanette Langfitt, 82, of Davenport, IA, formerly of Eldridge, IA, will be noon Friday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Bettendorf, IA. Visitation will be 930-11:30 am Friday at the Van Hoe Funeral Home, East Moline, IL. Private committal services will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Long Grove, IA. Mrs Langfitt passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA.

Lois was born November 8, 1939, in Superior, WI, the 11th child of 16 to William and Myrtle (Sharp) DeRosia. She married Gary Robert Langfitt May 19, 1965, in Davenport. He passed away February 3, 2017. She had worked for Bawden Printing, Eldridge. Lois was a fun loving person who loved bowling and playing the slots. She enjoyed margaritas and light beer. She was a past member of the Friends Circle Club, Svithoid Club and the East End Bolders Club, Moline.

Survivors include her children, Jeanne (John) Lerschen, Viola, IL, Rose (Bill) Lerschen, Moline, and Greg Langfitt, East Moline; step-children, Terry (Tammy) Langfitt, Davenport, Keith Langfitt, Davenport, and Denise Edwards, Chillicothe, MO; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen Wolfe, Dorothy Scott, Rose Ranthum, Jimmy (Carrie) DeRosia, and William DeRosia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Kenneth Aney, Tony Langfitt, and Jim Langfitt; and 10 siblings.
